Again a record turnout tonight of 47 players including newbies Maryam Farzin, Alan Bender and Barak Bender plus a visitor from Calgary Canada, David Taylor.
Sheriff Gary celebrated his birthday with a welcome streak of luck which not only denied Richard Broug the jackpot but resulted in him winning the night and effusing poetically!
The jackpot was Richard tonight
A fact that he thought was all right
But soon came his troubles
When Gary threw doubles
Thus putting the pot out of sight
The actual doubles that did the trick
Richard has since gone overseas for a month to lick his wounds.
