 Back up to pre-Covid numbers with 17 players turning up tonight.

Adam Makda was the drawn jackpot player and, although certain he would finally seize the prize, was cut down by our silent assassin, John Symon.

Results were:

2nd place Rafael Chattah

3rd place David Reitzin

4th place Angelo Voulgaris

 15 players met in combat tonight, including an overseas visitor, Ali Arfa, who turned out to be tonight's winner.

Mohammad Nejati was tonight's jackpot player but failed in his bid.

An uneven 15 players fronted up for tonight's match.

 

The fist meet of a new month has lots of housekeeping:

 

Player of the  month was Jim Bean, who had his entry fee for tonight refunded.

 

The jackpot player was drawn, and new player Amir Tehrani got the guernsey on his first night, but was unable to take advantage.

 

The Giantslayer offered the opportunity to take on top player Gary Stavrou and relieve him of some of his points was Jim Bean, and he accepted with alacrity – results later!

 Our numbers are starting to climb with15 players turning up tonight.

Angelo Voulgaris was the drawn jackpot player but failed to crack the jackpot.

The month's Giantslayer match was played; Dilhun Akpinar failing to wrest 243 points from Ladder Leader Gary Stavrou. The score was 9-6
