Another really good turnout of 23 players arrived to night , including a new player, Ahmad Hedjripour, grandfather of one of our youngest players, Koosha.

Ahmad was drawn as the jackpot player but could not capitalise on this despite winning two of his three matches – better luck next time.

 We had a record turnout tonight with an amazing 28 players crowding in to be part of the action.

There was also the beginning of temporary change of tournament director tonight with TD in training Dilhun Akpinar on the desk in preparation for his duties whilst Gary goes off to get a new hip.

 

It was a bit of a baptism of fire, but all flowed smoothly.

Shaheen Pordily is still smiling - just - in her match with Malcolm Stradwick.

At this stage its an even contest between John Symon and Angelo Voulgaris - final result NOT so even.

In the background Hammon Mans gets a beating from Aslin Sagnaklar whilst in the foreground Adam Makda demolishes Amir Tehrani.

 The year has started on a high note with 22 players  turning up to play.

We also welcomed 3 new players and hope that Payman Tehrani, Aslin Sagnaklar  and Aram Amirghan will become regulars .

 

Koosha  Hedjripour scored the first jackpot bid of the year, but was not able to scoop up the pennies.
